Hey travelers.

Let’s Read.

Today’s blog post is for our well-being through reading.

Whether you prefer a quick five minutes of reading in the morning or a daytime novel to read at the beach, I’ve made a list of nine motivational books that will inspire you on your next vacation.

Do you have a list of books you want to read, but finding the time and quiet space is more of a challenge than it’s worth?

Or, you don’t know what book to choose and feel overwhelmed by endless options.

Sure, reading clubs like Reese’s Bookclub and Oprah’s Bookclub make the selection more reasonable, yet is it the right book for your next trip?

Which one do you bring with you on vacation?

Picking the right book for your travels is like choosing the right outfit for a date; it matters how we feel.

The following reading list is for those interested in self-growth and self-discovery or who want to be inspired.

Regardless of the trials and tribulations happening around us, there is always something to grow from, be grateful for, and aspire to be.

If you are looking for a spark of light, this list is for you.

There are perks to reading while traveling, like fewer distractions, more quiet time (like on the plane or the car ride), and a better chance of finishing the book.

I often read in bed before falling asleep unless I pick up my phone and go on social media for hours.

If I get around to reading to relax me, key word relax, rarely do I make it to the end of the page before nodding off.

I have the same attention span reading on vacation, very little at night, yet the thought of laying by a pool with a great book in one hand and a cool beverage in the other is what I imagine my vacation to be!

That’s when an idea came to me: why not read a book that suits my vacation mood and attention span? Game-changer.

Knowing what type of trip I was taking and the intention of the vacation helped me choose the right book.

For instance, if I’m on a six-hour flight to Seattle to visit family, I want to bring an enthralling novel, one I can’t put down.

If traveling with my girlfriends to NYC for a long weekend, I know I can only handle a quick read to ground me before bed or when I wake up.

I compiled a list of nine motivational books to read on vacation that suit any type of reader, from the short and sweet to the more complex reads.

Let me know if you read any of these and how you liked them in the comments.
